The BlacT ACT tube uses celite as an activator and can be used to monitor patients undergoing procedures requiring the administration of medium or high concentrations of heparin. 2 ml of whole blood is required for the test. Before testing, the blood must be mixed with Celite inside the test tube. You can start testing by inserting a tube into the CompactOne 9 analyzer.
